Q: Are strollers allowed?
A: Yes! Strollers, wagons, wheelchairs are welcome.


Q: Can I sign up after Aug. 17?
A: Yes! Online registration ends at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17, but you can register during packet pickup at the CCPP office 10351 Linn Station Rd. from 12 - 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18.  Each individual packet that is picked up on Thursday during Packet Pickup will have the opportunity to be entered into a drawing to win one of several great prizes! As another option, you may choose to pick up your packet on Aug. 19 at Fleet Feet Sports, 2239 Taylorsville Road; M-F 10 a.m.-7 p.m. (no incentive for this option). Packets can also be picked up the morning of the race. (no incentive for this option).  The cost is $30 for late registration.  

 

Q: Is all registration online?
A: Participants can download the Registration Form, complete it, attach payment and hand deliver or send via USPS to the Project office at 10351 Linn Station Road, 40223.  You can also complete a Registration Form at Fleet Feet Sports, 2239 Taylorsville Road, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.  

 

Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome; please keep them on a leash.  There will also be water stations for them along the route.

 

Q: When can I pick up by race bib and t-shirt?
A: Early packet pickup is Aug. 18 at the CCPP office 10351 Linn Station Rd, from 12 - 7 p.m.  and Aug. 19 at Fleet Feet Sports, 2239 Taylorsville Road, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.  You can also pick these items up on race day at Iroquois Park starting at 7:30 a.m.  

 

Q: Where should I park?
A: Limited parking is available next to the amphitheater.  Overflow parking will be available at Iroquois High School, located at 4615 Taylor Blvd, Louisville, KY 40215.  Bus transportation will be provided between Iroquois High School and Iroquois Park from 7:30 a.m. -  11:30 a.m.      

 

Q: What's the route like?
A: The 5K (3.1 mile) route is the Iroquois Park loop. The loop is a lovely, shaded, paved road that keeps things interesting with hills. We will meet you halfway with water and lots of cheering!     

 

Q: Are there honorary posters?
A: Honorary posters in honor of loved ones will be posted around the route.  If you are making one this year, be sure to contact us to let us know!


Q: What are the awards for speed?
A:Top three male and female overall. Top three male and female survivors.  First male/female master and grandmaster. Top three male and female in age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.


Q: What if it rains?
A: The race will go on! The race will only be cancelled in extreme circumstances. If that happens, registrations will not be refunded but will be counted as tax-deductible donations.
